Colour and cosiness are the two guiding principles of Katherine Atkinson's Kent home. A blanket crocheted in bright squares lies draped upon the sofa, teal velvet cushions are dotted across the bed, a yellow fringed lamp emits a warm glow of living room light in the dark winter evenings.
