When spending time in Naples in 2019 we came across this famous mural of the city's patron saint, Saint Gennaro. Saint Gennaro isn't just your general patron saint; his influence forms the cultural identity of the city and his image is seen everywhere, in street shrines, churches, tattoos, artwork, and most notably, in this mural in the city's Forcella neighbourhood. The mural was painted by well-known Neapolitan street artist Jorit who created Saint Gennaro in the likeness of an everyday person instead of a saint, basing his face on that of his friend's. Apt for the religious figure for whom Neapolitans say is not just a saint but "one of them."

Our photography prints are sold unframed. Sizes 8 x 12 inches and less are posted in a hard backed envelope. Larger sizes are sent in a poster tube.
