PLEASE NOTE: All sizes in inches
Salvador de Bahia is the epicentre of Afro Brazil culture. Those who were brought to Brazil from Africa as slaves established their own culture and traditions, such as music, cuisine and even their own martial arts, which continue to thrive in the city today. The woman in this picture is wearing Baiana de Acarajé, the traditional dress of Salvador, which combines Europea baroque with Afro-Islamic dress.
